Friday afternoon update: Unfortunately, I had a flu shot and I am having a slight reaction of achy and an increase in my cough.  Given that the weather is supposed to be dank, cloudy and then to get damp and then rain, I’m thinking I’ll play it safe and not take the long drive in from Shelter Island under the circumstance.  I’ll reschedule the winter version at some point.  

Let's neck. Great Neck and Little Neck to be specific.  This is a close in 30ish mile scenic ride where we will see where the upper crust lives.  Lots of turns and relatively hilly for a short ride, as we try to get a pre-winter workout. Some dead ends, but some incredible views and homes.  Lunch is relatively late into the ride with a few choices in Great Neck. Start is later at 10:30 to make it easy for those taking the LIRR in the morning.  Bring lock and money for lunch, snacks to hold you over and a great inquisitive riding attitude.  With all the turns, I'll try not to get lost too frequently.
