Philadelphia Freedom
Primary tabs

Weather is a finicky thing. Most of the week, the forecast was 80 percent chances of rain. To travel to Philly and get rained out was not a great thing to do. So, we moved the ride to the next Sunday, May 13th. Believe us, it's worth the wait. The destination is great, full of the start of our Country. And the lunch is not too shabby either.
Bicycling is all about freedom. It's perfect. You go slow enough to see everything and fast enough not to get bored. So, We'll use our skill with two wheels to explore the beginning of our Country. If we get the government we deserve, shouldn't we know something about how it was created? There is an exhibit that explains so much of this process and we're going there. The Liberty Bell and more. We'll meet at Penn Station(NJ Transit 7th Ave.end), take the train to Trenton, board a Light Rail to just outside Philly, cross the Ben Franklin Bridge into the Heart of Our Nations Founding. We'll see Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, City Hall and more. Then there's lunch in the Cradle of Freedom. Our Country is special. Created at great personal risk by students of the "Age of Enlightenment" in the City of Brotherly Love. Come. Celebrate with us. Bring a lock and Continentals, er dollars, for transportation and food. Thanks
