Please join us on this pleasant ride to the "Cape Cod of the Bronx". City Island is a quaint island that once on you wouldn't believe you are still in NYC. Plus we get to see the new bridge that connects the island to the mainland.The ride is listed as moderate, we can go faster or slower depending on the group's wishes. Much of the ride will be on Greenways. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring bike lock / water / snacks. Lunch will be at Johnny's Reef at the tip of City Island and if Lickety Split is open we can treat ourselves to ice cream for dessert.
