Okay. Not really. But the portions are good. And the ride brings us along the comfortable, paved Dutchess County Rail Trail to the resurrected Hopewell Junction Depot with an "N" Gauge model of the Junction & the newly built Signal Tower reproduction.

This is one of the best built and mostly flat rail trail ever. On our way back, we'll check out the view of the Hudson from the Walkway Over the Hudson.

Then back to Poughkeepsie to take the return train to NYC.

We start at either Grand Central Terminal 8:43 train. Be there by 8:25 to buy ticket & board train or 125th St./Harlem. 8:54 train. Be there by 8:40 to buy ticket & board train. Be there by 8:25 to buy ticket & board train, Bring a Metro-North pass & money for tickets and lunch.
