It is the Jewish holiday of Purim next week so what better way to celebrate the dawn of spring (yes, it's just around the corner!) than to run an updated version of the Lost and Found Synagogues ride. This will be mostly a HAPPY FACE RIDE as we start at Columbus Circle and make our way north to Inwood where we find a few buildings that used to be synagogues and are now serving other purposes. We then cross the University Avenue Bridge into the Bronx to see what charming architectural gems are now performing other functions but were once Jewish places of worship. Length is max 20-25 miles with plenty of options to drop off at a subway and head home early. Bring your own food or but will have a stop at the end at an Israeli restaurant in Harlem where Falafel is on the menu. Optional ride back down the west side greenway ending in West Village near West 4th street Subway.
PS - the ride starts a bit later so that you can come after having your breakfast. You can expect to wind up in Harlem for a later lunch say in the 12:30pm-2:30pm time range, depending on how the ride progresses.
