Please join us for the 7th annual Riverdale Riverfest celebrating the Hudson River and the project to extend the Hudson River Greenway through the Bronx. This free festival on the campus of the College of Mount Saint Vincent features stage performances, lots of interesting food options, and loads of environmental, river-oriented, and just-plain-fun activities and exhibits. Visit the festival website to make an optional tax-deductible contribution to help sustain this event.

The renowned sailing vessels Mystic Whaler and Schooner Pioneer will be available at the festival for 1.5 hour sails.  Boat rides are optional.  If you want to sign up book passage online for $25 (www.riverdaleriverfest.org/boat rides). Choose the 1:30 sail time on the Schooner Pioneer if you are planning to ride back with us. Our group will leave the festival about 3:15 p.m.  If you do sail, we suggest you bring sunscreen and a cap.   

Our ride to the festival is approximately 14 miles each way and has some hills which we will take gently. There will be valet bicycle parking provided by Transportation Alternatives. Ride will be canceled if there is rain or the threat of imminent rain; you can check back on this web page before heading out. Co-listed with NYCC.
