Meander throughout the scenic back roads of Stamford and Greenwich, CT.. Plenty of hills, so road bikes are recommended.

8:30 AM: meeting at Grand Central Terminal Information Booth. Travelling on 9:02 off-peak train to Stamford. Ride starts at 10 AM. On our ride, local color and knowledge of the area will be supplied by Karl Leutzinger. At the end of the ride, we plan to visit the Half Full Brewery. After our meanderings, planning to get on the 3:25 train back & arrive at GCT at 4:30 PM. 

Please bring: helmet, gloves, fluids and/or refillable containers, lunch or $ for lunch, clothing to stay warm, two spare inner tubes & a pump, bike lights, and a Metro North bike permit. If you have "micro" rain gear that you can throw in your bag, bring that, too; you can put it over your clothing if you get cold. You may wish to buy a $5 Metro North bike permit and a round-trip ticket to Stamford CT ahead of time, or arrive on time and buy your ticket (and bike permit) when you meet us. Come with an open mind and be prepared to have fun!
