The D&R Canal Path Ride
Primary tabs

We meet at Pennsylvania Station in New York at 8:45AM and depart for The Trenton Transportation Center just after 9:00AM aboard The New Jersey Transit train to Trenton. Our pace is relaxed (12 to 14mph) on our way to Lambertville for a special country kitchen luncheon.
One of the places we pass is Washingtons Crossing, a little noted mile marker along the way. But here something happened that changed human history for the good. General Washington crossed the Deleware with 5,400 troops, surprised a Hessian force celebrating Christmas at their winter quarters in Trenton and kept the American Revolution alive.
We'll be enjoying the comradeship of our fellow cyclists and the extraordinary friendliness of the local folks along The Canal. Nature awaits to greet us and you'll love the environment. We expect to be back in The City prior to nightfall.
