Take the #2 Train to last stop in the Bronx, Wakefield. We'll meet at 241st St. and White Plains Rd. From there, we'll be riding along The Bronx River Pkwy. (closed to vehicular for Bicycle Sunday). The roadway is closed from 10:00AM until 2:00PM so we'll do a loop or two depending upon a consensus of the group. A beautiful day is in the forecast and we've a kindred sense amongst us; "Let's Ride"! We'll keep a gentle pace and the mileage should be about 35 miles. We'll give a grateful and passionate goodbye to Summer and then welcome and embrace the coming Autumn.
