Let’s take a high speed boat to Sandy Hook, the nearest destination to the renowned Jersey Shore, at a relaxed pace. We’ll ride around the Hook, maybe going to the nearby town of Highlands and see a portion of the Henry Hudson Trail, etc. Get something  to eat locally or bring your own lunch. Then return back to the Hook and go to North Beach, for beach bum time, where the ride ends. Please note details:  arrive at Pier 11 by 7:50 AM to purchase round trip ticket using the facebook discount coupon for $30 plus $5 bike fee (print the Seastreak graphic in this writeup.) Otherwise, the whole caboodle is $45! Although this is a happy face ride, make sure your bicycle is in good working order – esp. tires should be inflated as well as adjusted brakes and gears. Also, Sandy Hook is a Federal park with the trash rule. Returning  ferries to Manhattan leaves at 3:45 PM, 5:45 PM and 7:45 PM. Rain, esp. thunderstorm forecasts cancel.
