Join us as we ride from park to beach: Prospect Park in Brooklyn to Neponsit Beach, Queens, that is! We'll pick up lunch at Brighton Bazaar, an amazing Russian supermarket, chock-full of prepared Russian delicacies. We'll ride at a moderate pace, stopping in the Rockaways to change into our bathing suits then onto Neponsit for a face-to-face with the Atlantic Ocean. Our pace will be moderate for this fairly flat ride. Bring sunscreen, plenty of fluids, bike lock, backpack, string bag, or pannier to carry your lunch to our beach spot, $ for lunch or bag lunch, and of course, a bathing suit and towel if you plan to swim.
