Please join us for the 4th annual Riverdale Riverfest celebrating the Hudson River and the project to extend the Hudson River Greenway through the Bronx. This free festival on the campus of the College of Mount Saint Vincent features stage performances including Blood Sweat & Tears, a medieval renaissance battle, yummy-sounding food, a greenmarket, and loads of environmental, river-oriented, and just-plain-fun activities and exhibits. The renowned sailing vessels Clearwater and A.J. Meerwald will be available at the festival for 1.5 hour sails. Book passage online for $25. Choose the 1:30 sail time on the Clearwater or the 2:00 on the Meerwald if you are planning to ride back with us. If you do sail, we suggest you bring sunscreen and a cap.

Our ride to the festival is approximately 14 miles each way and has some hills which we will take gently. There will be valet bicycle parking. Ride will be canceled if there is rain or the threat of imminent rain; you can check back on this web page before heading out. Co-listed with NYCC.
