So we're going to the Women's Red Hook Crit, making momentous stops along the way: Rockaway Brewery, Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory, Steve's Key Lime Pie, and IKEA, where  vegan Swiss meatballs are the current cause célèbre (and the ultimate paradox: Swiss, vegan, meatballs all in one). We'll then head over to the Red Hook fixed-gear women's Crit at 8:30PM, with the men's challenge following at 9:30. After, we'll take traffic-free greenways to Brooklyn Bridge Park and, for those returning to Manhattan, the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges. Front and rear lights de rigueur and money for food and drinks optional.
